Additional judicial first class magistrate court sanctioned for Pithapuram

Pithapuram: An additional judicial first class magistrate (JFCM) court has been sanctioned for Pithapuram. The government issued a GO to this effect on Friday. The town now has only a judicial first class magistrate court because of which civil and criminal cases have been piling up. 

With the pendency of over 2,000 cases, the Pithapuram Bar Association had made an appeal to high court from the district for an additional JSFC. 
Following this, the court issued orders transferring Alamuru JMFC to Pithapuram.

This court will function as additional judicial first class magistrate court, according to the orders issued by Justice D Venkataramana, legal legislative affairs secretary.

Pithapuram Bar Association president Piratla Bhanumurthy, secretary Y K V Reddy, vice-president V Kamalayya, treasurer P V N Murthy, joint secretary Bangaru Ramakrishna, executive members M Satyavathi, D Ramesh Babu, Appa Rao, Konjarla, Saka Nageswara Rao, Saride Nageswara Rao, Murthy, Krishna Veena, Suryachandra, besides senior advocates have hailed the decision on the additional magistrate court.
