18 cases booked on jewellers

Vijayawada: Officials of legal metrology department on Monday conducted raids on gold shops in Vijayawada and noticed irregularities done by some traders.

According to information, the officials booked 18 cases on the traders for faulty measurements and weighing machines. Raids were conducted as part of statewide searches made on jewellery shops.
