Accused in yoga teacher murder held

Visakhapatnam:  The airport zone police arrested one of the key accused Ramesh in the yoga teacher Polamarasetti Venkata Ramana’s murder case and produced him before media here on Tuesday.Addressing the media, on a tip-off, police arrested Ramesh at Gavara Kancharapalem area.

CI Mahesh said that during interrogation Ramesh confessed to  having arranged rods which were used in killing the yoga teacher. Police are investigating whether any cases were registered against Ramesh in the past or not.

He added that the prime accused Kilaparthi Venkata Rao is now recovering at King George Hospital and his son Eswar Rao, who is also associated with the yoga teacher murder case, is currently in Vietnam and the police are taking intiative to bring him back home.
