Amaravati: Senior YSRCP leader Botcha Satyanarayana demanded that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu government should volunteer and conduct an inquiry into the charges levelled against him by BJP MLC Somu Veerraju. He alleged that the Chief Minister had gone underground when TDP MPs were resorting to theatrics in Parliament.

Addressing the media in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Botcha said, “Veerraju levelled serious allegations against Chandrababu Naidu saying that a person with just two acres of land had become a billionaire and said that there have been irregularities in Kuppam constituency.” The State should volunteer for an inquiry as there was a precedence of the ruling party ordering a CBI probe against their own leader.

Botcha pointed out that former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy ordered a probe when allegations were levelled against him. Botcha said while the TDP MPs were holding placards flashing the slogan ‘Save democracy’ and protested in Lok Sabha, two TDP Ministers were sitting comfortably in the front row. He alleged that the Chief Minister was inaccessible during the period which reflects the dichotomy of the situation”.
