People’s views will be considered on power related issues

Rajamahendravaram:  Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) chairman Justice G Bhavani Prasad has said that the opinions of the general public will be considered with regard to retail power supply, enhancing power tariff and to increase the income of power Generation Corporation (Genco) for the year 2018--2019.

A meeting was held at Transco Circle Office here on Tuesday in which power consumers and officials of wings participated. Collecting opinions from various quarters, he said everyone should give his or her suggestions and opinions in this regard to take appropriate decision by the commission.

APERC has always been striving for the welfare of farming community and power consumers. The APEPDCL is  paying its electricity bills promptly, he said.
