Failure to get funds from Centre: Political parties in blame game
Vijayawada: The leaders of Telugu Desam and YSR Congress blamed each other while participating in bandh on Thursday. The leaders of Left parties demanded the Telugu Desam Party to come out of the NDA coalition. The leaders of Congress lambasted both BJP and TDP.
Interestingly, film critic Katti Mahesh welcomed the plans of JAC formation by film hero Pawan Kalyan for agitating against the Centre. He participated in protest here on Thursday and extended support to all agitating leaders for protecting state interests.
Telugu Desam official spokesperson Lanka Dinakar has said that YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy colluded with BJP for getting relief from corruption cases. He asked the YSR Congress leaders as to why Jaganmohan Reddy did not participate in any agitation as part of bandh. He said that the YSR Congress party was playing duel role.
On the other hand, former minister and YSR Congress leader K Partha Saradhi has said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was responsible for the present situation of the state. He wondered as to how the Chief Minister remained silent for the last four years when the Centre was not allocating funds.
Congress official spokesperson Kolanukonda Sivaji has said the BJP and TDP should answer to the public. He said that already Congress was building pressure in Parliament on Centre for the implementation of AP Reorganisation Act. He wondered as to why Prime Minister Modi blamed Congress instead of doing justice to the state.
CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna has said that an action plan would be finalised for securing interests of state. He flayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for cheating the people of state.
CPM Rajadhani Committee convener Ch Babu Rao asked the Telugu Desam to come out of the coalition. He said the Telugus should unite for fighting injustice being done by Centre to AP.
