Two girls go missing

Vijayawada: Two girls-Cheku Divya (14) daughter of Pethuru of Ibrahimpatnam and Gunja Rama Devi (17) daughter of Guravaiah of Machilipatnam- went missing since Wednesday morning from Abhyudaya Mahila Mandali for Women’s Development, Ekalavya Nagar at Bhavanipuram.

After searching for the missing girls at nearby places, a missing complaint was lodged by Abhyudaya Mahila Mandali organiser V Suseela with Bhavanipuram police on Wednesday.

On receiving the complaint, Circle Inspector Y Bala Rajaji and his team reached the spot and inspected the location, they found that the entrance window was broken. The CI deployed three teams to search for the missing girls.

Missing girls- Divya attired in full hand T-shirt with green stripes and blue jeans, while Rama Devi was wearing violet colour chudidar- according to police.
