Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the college building of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Institute (JNTU), at Kakani in Guntur district.
Appreciating the students of JNTU, he praised their activities and patted them for bringing out books. Asserting the importance of gaining knowledge, Chandrababu said that the students lie in knowledge-based jobs and skills.
The Chief Minister further stated that Andhra Pradesh is ahead of others in Information Technology and is set to lead the world. He even addressed the issue of allocation of funds to the state after the ceremony where he gave an ultimatum to the Centre that he won't compromise until the state is meted justice.
