Nellore: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state General Secretary S Suresh Reddy said that they are waiting for the decision of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) with regard to the alliance.

Interacting with the media at BJP office here on Wednesday, Suresh Reddy criticised the TDP and said that leaders of the party had prepared a script and were acting according to it. He also termed the party as ‘Chandrababu Telugu Desam’ and alleged that TDP had secured votes in 2014 general elections only with the charisma of Narendra Modi and Pawan Kalyan.

He also questioned that why the TDP MPs had not asked the UPA government for implementation of demands made during the state bifurcation.

“After coming out of the alliance with the TDP, the BJP leaders and activists across the state would conduct a campaign on irregularities of the state government in all welfare schemes,” warned the state general secretary.

Majority BJP leaders would express happy if the TDP says goodbye to the alliance, he added. Local leaders M Ramesh and others were present.
