VIET annual day held on a grand note

Visakhapatnam: Visakha Institute of Engineering and Technology (VIET), located at Narava, celebrated its annual day on a grand note. Additional Commissioner of Income Tax MN Murty Naik was the  chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he called upon the students to work hard to achieve success. Students not only concentrate on education, but also take part in extracurricular activities, he suggested. He also advised the students to utilise the internet facility in a right manner.

Chief Patron of  Centre for Women Studies of Andhra University B Ratnakumari said that 70 per cent of the country’s population are within 35 years age. Youth should plan career and climb success ladder. 

Secretary of VIET P Venkateswara Rao, Vice-Chairman P Subba Raju also addressed the students. On the occasion, prizes and awards were presented to the meritorious students in the last academic year.
  
Members of the governing body Ch Kiran Kumar, M Balaji and principal B Srinivasa Rao were present.
