Narayana promises facelift to roads in Nellore

Nellore: Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana has said that they would take up repairs to the kaccha and CC roads in the city under Critical Infrastructure Scheme. The minister inspected sanitation and development works in Bankers and LIC colonies in 24th division and also in 50th division on Sunday.

Speaking to the media persons, Narayana has said that they would develop 100 municipal parks in the city in a phased manner. Minister informed that they  sanctioned Rs.10 crore for construction of compound walls, and also to gym centres in 22 parks out of 26 in the city. Burial grounds of all communities would be improved by providing amenities similar to the facilities developed in Narasaraopet, he said. 

He  received representations from the local people of 50th division and interacted with the local vendors. He assured the vendors that buildings would be constructed in the market area for local vendors.  City mayor Sk Abdul Aziz, NUDA Chairman K Srinivasulu Reddy, Commissioner Alim Basha, former legislator M Sridhar Krishna Reddy and others were present.
