15 goats die due to lightning

Nellore: Thunderstorms accompanied by huge gale winds have started in Nellore district much before commencement of severe summer and 15 goats died due to lightning at Sanjeevareddy Nagar in Seetharamapuram mandal on Friday evening.

Upland areas in the district such as Udayagiri and Seetharamapuram mandals have witnessed heavy rain with gale winds for 2-3 hours in the evening which created fear among local population.
