A pall of gloom descends on village

Vijayawada: A pall of gloom descended on Anasagaram village following the death of K Ravindra and U Priyanka, who committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Anasagaram of Nandigama mandal on Friday.

According to police, K Ravindra working as a compounder and U Priyanka pursuing degree, were in love for the past one year. They committed suicide by hanging from the tree in an orchard in the village.

A suicide note was found at the site purportedly written by the victims stating to bury both at one place. On receiving information, police reached the spot and collected the letter left by the deceased and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Police registered a case of suicide.
