Butchaiah dares Veerraju to contest from Rajamahendravaram rural seat
Rajamahendravaram: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Choudary on Sunday slammed BJP MLC Somu Veerraju for making baseless allegations against the state government and trying to tarnish the image of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to reporters at his house here on Sunday, Butchaiah Choudary said that Somu Veerraju became MLC with the mercy of TDP government and asked him to resign to his post immediately. He challenged the MLC to contest from his rural assembly constituency if he is having any guts.
He also advised the MLC to bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi to campaign for him in the rural constituency and he can only participate in the campaign.
The MLA asked Somu Veerraju to prove his corruption allegations against the government or otherwise put an end to this senseless criticism immediately. Stating that the city people knows well about the corruption and the history of Somu Veerraju, the MLA said the MLC was not even a street leader and cannot get deposits even in corporation elections.
Butchaiah Choudary said BJP national president Amit Shah's nine pages letter to the Chief Minister was nothing but to mislead the state people. Andhra Pradesh government was in first position in all aspects even in growth rate because of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's relentless and concerted efforts, he added.
The MLA said that Jana Sena party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan was not having stability on any issue concerned to the state and yet to know many things happening in the state. He pointed out Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was responding to even small problem whoever takes it to his notice. TDP leaders V Rambabu, N C Babu and R M Rao were present.
