NIIT Varsity offers career-oriented engg courses

Vijayawada: Seminars were being conducted at various places across the country to enlighten the students and their parents to choose the career in various engineering courses for a bright future, said Dr Pankaj Sharma, Director of NIIT University (NU), Rajasthan. 

Speaking to the media persons here on Wednesday, Sharma said that NU had successfully created a new model of education that would help a great career, faster critical thinking, innovation and research-centric approach to shape the students. 

He said the university was dedicated towards forging strong industry linkages as one of its top principles.  He said the Centre for Industry Collaboration (CIC) at NU, assists students in their endeavours to enrich their education, career and lives to make lifelong contribution to society. 

He said that NU has achieved 100 per cent placement since the inception in 2009. NU South regional director Rangineni Venkateswar said the university was offering multiple undergraduate programmes like five-year integrated dual-degree B Tech-M Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, four-year integrated MBA and four-year integrated M Sc in Computer Science for students who had taken Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their Class XI and XII, he added.

He said the campus was about 70 kilometers from Gurgaon.
