Beautification drive for ‘Happy Cities’ meet

Vijayawada: The higher officials of Amaravati Development Corporation Chairperson Lakshmi Partha Saradhi, CRDA Commissioner Cherukuri Sridhar and VMC Commissioner J Nivas  inspected various parts of Vijayawada city for the upcoming Happy Cities Conference on Thursday. 

Beautification drive was held for a three-day conference, which would commence from April 10 to 12, the officials visited Ramavarappadu Ring Road and inspected the beautification works. For the prestigious programme, the officials and the authorities were planning to give a facelift to the main junctions with green cover.  

All the three departments had planned to develop the route from which the foreign delegates will go through from the airport to attend the programme. They decided to develop greenery and lay fencing on both the sides of the road.
