NAD Cross Roads is one of the busiest junctions in the city and thousands have been facing tough times particularly in the morning and evening times. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, observing the traffic woes, he proposed to construct a flyover at NAD Cross Roads. The works were entrusted to VUDA.

After screening several designs, finally unique rotary mode flyover was selected, which is one of its kind in the country. The highlight of the project is there will be no traffic signals and all modes of transport can pass through in all four directions in three different layers.

The rotary mode separator of the flyover at the ground level will have passage for light motor vehicles and the one above the ground level will be exclusively for the heavy vehicles.
