Narendra Modi will never give special status: JC Diwakar Reddy

TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy said that all the agitation for achieving special category status to Andhra Pradesh would go waste. Nothing can be achieved from this, he said and added, this is a useless exercise. 

He said that he knows how adamant Narendra Modi is and that nothing can come out of these agitations.

“I am participating in the agitations only because Chandrababu Naidu wants me to. I know this protest futile,” he said. He said he was not adamant about special category status. If AP is given adequate funds, I shall convince the people to call off their protests,” he said.

I will take the responsibility of bringing around the general public if AP is given funds equal to what special status gives us, he added.
