Woman dies in elephants’ attack

Srikakulam:  Wild elephants killed an elderly woman at Hirapuram forest area in Meliaputti mandal on Saturday. According to details, the deceased was identified as M Neelamma, 65,  who hailed from Hirapuram village. 

The incident took place when she was collecting cashew nuts in a cashew orchard, elephants attacked her in which she died on the spot. On receiving information, the forest officials and police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
