BJP sees political motive behind CM’s Deeksha
Vijayawada: BJP senior leader and former minister G Manikyala Rao said that political motive was the main reason behind Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s Deeksha. Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, he said that Chandrababu Naidu tried to utilise the situation for gaining political mileage.
The Chief Minister and the leaders of TDP have been falsely blaming Prime Minister Narendra Mod. The State suffered a loss of nearly Rs 200 crore due to Chandrababu Naidu’s Deeksha, he said. The former minister recalled that Prime Minister observed one-day hunger strike without giving trouble to anyone. He wondered as to how the Chief Minister encouraged film hero turned MLA Balakrishna to make adverse comments against the Prime Minister from the dais of Deeksha. He asked the government to order an inquiry on the allegations of Pawan Kalyan.
The government was practicing false tactics to defame the leaders of other parties, he alleged.He took strong objection to the comments of film hero Balakrishna against the Prime Minister. The government failed to send necessary reports to the Centre for the drought-hit districts, he said and added that the plans were not prepared to tackle drought situation in the State. BJP leaders U Srinivasa Raju and media in-charge P Dileep were present.
