Nine held for selling ganja

Kadapa: The cops arrested a gang of nine members on the charges of selling ganja and seized 1,150 grams of ganja, Rs 9 lakh cash, 16 mobile phones and a car from them. 

The total booty worth was Rs 19.5 lakh. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, DSP SkMasumBasha said that, on a tip off, Yerraguntla cops raided a hotel in Chilamakuru village of Yerraguntla mandal and caught accused red-handed selling ganja. The cops caught some accused while trying to flee in a car from the crime spot, the DSP stated. The police registered a case.
