Takshasila IAS Academy students take out rally

Vijayawada: The students of Takshasila IAS Academy took out a candle rally from Kanuru Centre to Siddhartha Engineering College here on Tuesday. They demanded that the governments take stringent action against perpetrators who assault women.

They expressed concern over increasing attacks against the women in the country. They exhibited the problems and difficulties of women in various forms. 

Academy director Durga Prasad said that they took out a rally with students to create awareness among the people. He said that the members of Mahila Mitra also took part in the rally.
