Children gain from listening, writing stories
Kakinada: The concept of expression in children would increase when they listen to stories and write stories on their own, said Bala Vedika convener Noru Balarama Krishna here on Friday. He participated as chief guest at Vesavi Vinodam summer camp organised by the AP National Green Corps (NGC) for school children at Dr Sarvepalli Radha Krishna Municipal Primary School in Jagannadhapuram.
Speaking to the children, he said that the questioning attitude was very high in children and they should be encouraged. By listening to stories and writing stories it would certainly help them to question.
After listening to the stories, the children should repeat the story on their own. By doing this, they would learn the language without any mistake and it would help to construct the sentences in line.
He specified that the short stories certainly help the school children to develop patriotism, wittiness, self-confidence and truthfulness.AP NGC district coordinator Kesari Srinivasa Rao also spoke at the third day of Vesavi Vinodam programme.Headmaster B Ravi Srinivas, teachers Papa Rao, Durga Srinivas and MV Ramana participated.
