Workshop on big data analytics begins

Tirupati: The three-day workshop on ‘big data analytics & IoT’ organised by Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalam (SPMVV)’s Society for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship–Technology Business Incubator (SSIIE-TBI) for the faculty and research scholars of the varsity and other colleges has begun here on Friday. SPMVV Rector Prof V Uma has inaugurated the workshop and emphasised on the scope of big data analytics and its current implications.

The keynote speaker and CEO of P&P Nex Gen Tech Pvt Ltd, Arun Indurti delivered a talk on ‘scope of big data analytics in the current scenario’ with insights on IoT solutions and big data solutions applicable to digital media, subscription analytics, pharmaceutical industry and banking industry with relevant case studies. Dr Y Rajesh and B Sai Jyothi of Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT), Guntur also delivered a talk.

SSIIE-TBI CEO Y Mallikarjuna Reddy has said that students and faculty can send their start-up ideas to ceo.spmvv@gmail.com. Conveners of the programme Prof S Jyothi, Prof J Katyayani and Director, School of Engineering and Technology Prof A Ramakrishna Rao and others took part.
