Sri City organises free medical camp

Tirupati: In line with its commitment towards providing health care amenities for the people of the neighbouring villages, Sri City Foundation in association with SRM Institutes of Medical Sciences (SIMS) organised a mega free multi-speciality health check-up camp on Saturday. 

The health camp evoked good response with hundreds of people utilising medical services offered by the doctors on the premises of SIMS Hospital in Sri City. A team of doctors from SIMS-Vadapalani, Chennai, that included specialists of cardiology, orthopaedics, general medicine, along with supporting paramedical staff conducted the camp. More than 300 patients from the villages and neighbouring mandals of Sri City turned at the health camp. About 60 cases of cardiology, 30 cases of orthopaedics and 192 cases of general medicines related have been screened.

In addition to free consultations and check-ups, the camp offered free medicines and laboratory investigations like x-ray and ECG. Commenting on the medical camp, the founder MD of Sri City Ravindra Sannareddy said that Sri City has been undertaking various initiatives to promote the good health and well-being of the communities residing in and around their project.
