Naval Dockyara staffer receives Shrama Sakthi Award

Visakhapatnam: Parupudi Ravi, an employee of Naval Dockyard, honoured with Shrama Sakthi Award for the year 2018. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu presented the award to him at the May Day celebrations in Vijayawada on Tuesday.

The award recognises the services of those are rendering service trade union activities. He devoted his time for rendering service to the welfare of workers in the organised and unorganised sectors in Visakhapatnam district.

Participated in many blood donation camps and helped the needy workers to get required blood from various organisations, including Rotary Club. From his own funds, Ravi has been distributing books to the poor children.
