Provide selfless service to devotees: TTD chairman

Recently appointed TTD chief Putta Sudhakar Yadav inspects SSD queue lines and interacts with pilgrims

Tirumala: TTD Chairman  Putta Sudhakar Yadav urged the officials and staff  to provide selfless service to devotees who throng the Tirumala shrine every day throughout the year.

The TTD chief inspected the facilities at Divys Darshan and Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) queue lines at Narayanagiri gardens on Saturday and later spoke to the media.
He asserted that there was tumultuous response of devotees for the SSD system and lauded the efforts of the officials and TTD staff in the direction of smoothening the darshan of Lord Venkateswara for the devotees.

The chairman also went around the Potu (mega kitchen) inside the Vaikuntam Queue complex where he inquired about the procurement of raw materials like milk etc. and the quality of all ingredients.

During his visit of the SarvaDarshanam queue complex, toilets and bathrooms, he directed the officials to maintain them in hygienic conditions.  He asked the officials to paint the walker's path along the four MadaStreets and examine the feasibility of installation of air conditions in the queue lines abetting Srivari temple walls.

The chairman also directed officials to put up signboards and flexis in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and English at prominent locations in Tirumala for benefit of devotees from all over India.

He also interacted with devotees from Hyderabad, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra after obtaining SSD tokens and all of them expressed happiness about facilities provided by the TTD. 

TTD board members Challa Ramachandra Reddy, EE Prasad, AVSO S Kurma Rao and others participated in the Chairman's inspection.
