Jagan promises separate corpn for Nayee Brahmins

Vijayawada: YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that the Nayee Brahmins would be given priority in the legislative bodies, if he is voted to power in the next elections.

Interacting with the leaders of Nayee brahmins as part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Gudivada Assembly constituency in Krishna district on Tuesday, he said that he would do justice to Nayee brahmins.

He said that he would establish NayeeBrahmin Corporation instead of Federation. The people of the community have been  facing challenges, he said and added that he would implement various welfare schemes.

Nayee Brahmins who were running the saloons would be given free power up to 250 units. Subsidised power would be supplied to owners of saloons who were using 400 units power, he said.

The YSRCP chief also said that he would give priority for Nayee Brahmins to become members of the temple development committees. The identity cards would be given for them who were working in the temples. He reiterated that he would provide good salaries to Nayee Brahmins working in temples.

He assured the farmers and youth on extending help to them after he comes to power and also promised remunerative  price for agriculture produce.   Meanwhile, the leaders of Archaka Sangham also met him.

On this occasion, he said that he would take steps to provide good salaries, if he is voted to power. YSR Congress leaders Kodali Nani, Bala Showrie, K Pardha Saradhi, S Udayabhanu, Perni Nani and other leaders were also present.
