RDO GV Satyavani promises facilities at polling booths

Gudivada: RDO GV Satyavani has said that complete infrastructural facilities would be provided at all the polling booths under Gudivada Assembly constituency limits.

Speaking to the booth-level officers here on Monday, she said that infrastructural facilities at all the 230 booths would be provided.

She ordered the officials to provide electricity, drinking water, toilets, furniture and other facilities at all the polling booths.

She said that as per the Election Commission guidelines and the instructions of the District Collector, all the polling booths were inspected.

She informed that 11,862 new voters who are above 18 years of age under the Gudivada Assembly constituency limits registered their names. Newly enrolled candidates will be added to the list, she added.

Later, she participated in Meekosam programme organised on the RDO office premises.
