Farmers complain of snake bites in Grama Darshini Programme at Ulavapudi village

Gudlavalleru: RDO GV Satyavani has said the motto of the State government is to transform all the villages as problem-free and hassle-free villages by providing infrastructure facilities.

The RDO participated in Grama Darshini Programme organised at Ulavapudi village of Gudlavalleru mandal in Krishna district on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that the government was providing all kinds of infrastructure facilities to the villages to transform all the villages as model villages. 

She said that as part of this programme, all the eligible were given pension under NTR Bharosa scheme, houses, construction of toilets, drinking water taps besides laying of internal roads in the villages, drainage canals and providing sanitation facility on a war-footing.

She said that all the officials who had attended the programme should come prepared with complete information of the problems and complaints of the villagers. 

She said that due to recent heavy rains the farmers were complaining of snake bites and were unable to go for farming. 

She told them to be cautious on such issues. She appealed to the villagers to use toilets and transform the villages as ODF.

Special officer Sudhakar Rao, Tahsildar Swarna Mary, MDO AV Ramana and others were present.
