Kids should continue spirit of sports

Visakhapatnam: Divisional Railway Manager of Waltair Division Mukul Saran Mathur inaugurated the summer sports coaching camp here on Wednesday at Railway Grounds which is being organised by the East Coast Railway Sports Association. 

The summer coaching camp will be concluded on June 4. The ECoRSA, Waltair, is organising the camp for the past few years apart from the regular training in various disciplines of sports. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mukul Saran Mathur advised the children to take part in any of the sport events for physical and mental relaxation. Children should continue the spirit of sports in which they are interested and willing to get training so as to continue even after the camp.

Sports officer of  ECoRSA Sakkeer Hussain said that Indian Railways is the premier organisation which accords top priority to the sports personnel in recruitments and advocated to utilise the opportunity in improving sporting skills. 

Assistant sports officers Ch Vishnu Murthy, Shiva Harsha, Anil, Nagesh, general secretary, ECoRSA, and trade union representatives were present.
