Chandrababu uproars on Yeddy’s resignation
Amaravati: TDP president and AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has uproar the resignation of BS Yeddyurappa as Chief Minister of Karnataka, the BJP’s candidate.
Lambasting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah, he said that by forming the government without having majority, they cheated the public and violated Constitution of India. He stressed that such wrong doings must not be repeated in anywhere in the country, speaking at an interactive session with the Sadhikara Mitras at his residence at Undavalli in Guntur on Saturday.
He said that it was a victory of democracy. Everybody in the country is happy with the resignation of BJP’s candidate Yeddyurappa, he added.
It is not the first time and it was happened in Andhra Pradesh when NT Ramarao was CM, he said. At that time also the TDP protest and agitated for more than one month and again formed government by NT Ramarao, he explained.
Both Narendra and Amit Shah tried to form tainted government in Karnataka. They even cheated Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu blamed. He said that he has been fighting against them for the development of Andhra Pradesh. He said that he staged hunger strike at Vijayawada and protests in Tirupati and other areas.
Chandrababu Naidu now claimed that he gave a call to Telugu people residing in Karnataka to defeat BJP in the recent general elections and they reacted to his call through votes.
In Karnataka both Janatha Dal (Secular) - JD(S) and Congress requested governor to invite them to form government since they got majority in alliance (Post election alliance). But governor called BJP to form Government and gave 15 days grace period to prove majority, which did not have majority MLAs in the Lower House. It is nothing but encouraging horse-trading, he explained.
BJP promoted Gali Janardan Reddy, who was involved in multi crores scams and facing CBI charges, he said.
BJP in its manifesto promised that they would bring back the illegal money stashed in abroad, but failed.
He blamed that BJP spent about Rs 10,000 to purchase each vote in the last elections in Karnataka. After the elections, they resorted to pouching of MLAs of Congress and JD(S) to form government.
At this juncture, the intervention of Supreme Court gave life to democracy. The SC directed them to prove majority within 24 hours, that is by 4 pm on Saturday, instead of waiting for fifteen days. Again, they did another violation in appointing Pro-tem Speaker. Instead of appointing senior most member in the House as Pro-tem Speaker, the Governor appointed a junior member in the Lower House. The Governor intentionally violated the rules and proceedings of the Assembly in appointing Pro-tem Speaker in order to give chance to BJP to manage things in Assembly.
Again the political parties went to Supreme Court. Then the Supreme Court directed them to give it live and let the people know it. After all these developments, Yeddyurappa submitted resignation, Chandrababu Naidu explained.
He questioned the integrity of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah on appointing Yeddyurappa as Chief Minister. “What is the message giving by the Prime Minister and BJP President? It is very pathetic.”, Chandrababu Naidu said.
In Tamilnadu also they did the same. They corrupted Governor institution and managed to ruin genuine political leaders who served to the society, the TDP supremo added.
If they could successfully taint politics in Karnataka then they might enter into AP, he said. They could not digest any leader who really works for public and development of the society.
He expressed happiness over the developments of Karnataka.
