Woman dies in road mishap 

Nellore: One woman died and three others sustained injuries when a car hit a stationary Tata Magic van from rear side on the National Highway at Kavali. The deceased was identified as Padmavathi, 60, of Cheemakurthi. According to sources, Padmavathi, Adilakshmi, Bhanuchander, and Madhavilatha from Cheemakurthi in Prakasam district attended a function in Nellore on Sunday.

They were back to their native place in the afternoon and the car in which they were traveling hit a van from the rear side. Padmavathi died on the spot and Adilakshmi, Bhanuchander and Madhavilatha received severe injuries and were shifted to Kavali area hospital for treatment. Kavali police registered a case.
