Yanamala rules out tie-up with Cong

Amaravati: Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said the TDP would never join hands with the Congress party. In a press release on Saturday, Yanamala said there was no truth in BJP president Amit Shah’s statement that TDP had joined hands with the Congress party.

Stating that the TDP came out of NDA government to protect the interests of the state, he said the government committed to Special Category Status for the state through peaceful protests. Reacting on the comments made by Amit Shah against TDP, Yanamala said the BJP failed to protect the interests of the state for the past four years.

The Finance Minister said the TDP played keyrole in national politics by forming national front even before Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah entered politics. He said Amit Shah should keep in mind that Chandrababu Naidu played keyrole during Vajpayee regime.He alleged that Amit Shah and Modi were resorting to unethical practices in politicsfearing over unity among all non-BJP parties with Karnataka episode. 

Ramakrishnudusaid the economy of the country deteriorated under Modi rule andfarmers and poor people were suffering with Modi’s anti-poor policies. He said that there was no Modi wave in the recent times and the BJP will not come to power in the ensuing elections.
