‘Mahanati’ success meet held

Vijayawada: The Movie Artists Association (MAA) president, Rajendra Prasad expressed happiness for acting in the movie Mahanati. 

He appreciated the producers Swapna Datt and Priyanka Datt and the director Naga Aswin for taking up the project to portray the biography of legendary actress Savitri which was risky.

He participated in the success meet of Mahanati with the cast and crew of the movie at Alankar Theater here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajendra Prasad said heroine Keerti Suresh performed excellently in the lead role. 

He appreciated the music director Mickey J Mayor and cameraman Dany.

Heroine Keerthi Suresh thanked the producers for trusting in her and giving a chance in the movie. 

She said the movie had given a lifetime satisfaction after getting the good marks for her action as Mahanati Savitri. 

She thanked the audience for making the movie a big success.

Senior journalist Turlapati Kutumba Rao said that the technicians had taken good care leaving no chance for the audience to comment.

Savitri Kala Peetham members felicitated all the artistes of Savitri.
