Chandrababu Naidu launches 2 health vehicles

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday launched two Arogya Radhams (health vehicles) to provide better treatment to patients in remote areas of the state at Grievance Hall at his residence in Undavalli.

The vehicles were donated by the AP Genco under the corporate social responsibility. Each bus of these two vehicles cost Rs 90 lakh. Medical equipment and necessary medicines will be available in these vehicles.

At present, one vehicle was allotted to Seeleru and another vehicle will go to Kadapa district, informed Chief Minister while inaugurating them. Not less than 150 diseases could be treated in these vehicles, he added.

Medical emergency equipment like ECG, blood test, Five Parameter Monitoring system, nebuliser, oxygen, heart attack treatment and many other facilities are available in these buses.  

Each vehicle will visit a selected village by 9 am and the doctors will provide treatment to patients till 4 pm. The tests and treatments for malaria, dengue and other disease will be provided at free of cost to citizens.

If the doctors found any abnormalities in these tests during their visit, they will attach the patient to NTR Health Service hospitals in the nearest area.
