Task Force teams to check unauthorised sand mining

Kakinada: The East Godavari police initiated measures to check unauthorised sand mining in the district.

According to Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni, the police acted in view of reports of illegal mining in the district. 

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the district police chief said that division-wise Task Force teams for all the five divisions in the district were set up for effective check.

The SP clarified that the details of the informer will be kept as secret.
