People urged to avoid plastic carry bags

Kakinada: MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao called upon people to avoid using plastic carry bags and relative items for pollution-free environment.

Addressing a rally organized by AP National Green Corps East  Godavari unit, the MLA said that it was the duty of everyone to strive for plastic pollution-free society.

Kakinada Mayor Sunkara Pavani advocated for use of cloth bags for environment protection.
In this connection, a rally was organised with school children. 

Deputy Educational officer L Ganesh Babu,  Green Corps district coordinator Kesari Srinivasa Rao also spoke.
