Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy lays stone for Panchayath Raj building
Kadapa: Government Whip Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy has said that Rs 20 crore worth developmental works were proposed by the Panchayath Raj (PR) department in the Rajampet Assembly constituency.
Addressing the meeting after laying foundation for the construction of a PR building costing Rs 1 crore in Rajampet town on Thursday, Mallikarjuna Reddy has stated Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh had sanctioned Rs 20 crore for construction of roads, buildings and renovation of dilapidated buildings and for other works in the segment.
Assuring people of completing all the link roads in the constituency in the next 7 months, the Government Whip has mentioned of laying road for every village with a population of 250 families.
Later, Rajampet MLA has inspected 14 acres of land which meant to construction of houses under NTR Housing Scheme at Yerraballe village. He directed the officials of constructing 1,279 houses under war foot basis. Rajampet RDO Veera Brahmam, Tahsildar Narasimhulu, Town Planning Officer VLN Murthy and other officials were present.
