Children show concern for environment protection

Kakinada: On the second day of the Environment Protection Week being organised by National Green Corps East Godavari unit, various competitions were conducted for school children. 

A total 272 children from 24 schools participated in the competitions on environment protection. 

The competitions were conducted in essay-writing, elocution and  drawing.

Several school children expressed their views on total of plastic bags.

Later, mementos were distributed to winners in the competitions. 
 
District Green Corps coordinator Kesari Srinivasa Rao supervised the conduct of the competitions for the school children.
