Navy Summer Coaching Camp Concludes

Visakhapatnam: Summer coaching camp in various sports disciplines, including badminton, basketball, cricket, football, golf, horse riding, scuba diving, swimming, tennis and sailing for children concluded on Saturday at the Eastern Naval Command. 

The camp was coordinated by Command Sports Office of Headquarters of Eastern Naval Command from May 7. 

Over 1,200 children in the age group of 6 to 18 years attended the coaching camps. 

The aim of the camp was to introduce naval children to various sports and kindling their interest. Due thrust was also given to improving their physical fitness and inculcate sportsmanship spirit in them.
