Development hampered during TDP rule: Congress
Rajamahendravaram: The Congress city president, NV Srinivas has said that during four years of TDP rule, the people have faced many problems and development was hampered.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu shattered the dreams of the people, he said.
Participating in a rally and dharna at Devi Chowk here on Friday, he said the Congress declared the week as Praja Vanchana Varam protesting against the TDP's ‘anti-people’ polices.
Naidu had failed to fulfill the assurances given in the election manifesto and still trying to cheat the people in this regard.
The people were well aware of the things and they were vexed with TDP rule and decided to teach a lesson to the TDP in the ensuing Assembly elections, he said.
He underlined the need to save the state from the clutches of TDP government.
The party leaders, DV Rao, Harshad, B Venkat and many others were present.
