Special Drive to Enrole Voters

Kakinada: East Godavari Collector Kartikeya Mishra reviewed the enrolment of voters with stakeholder departments at the meet conducted at district Collectorate on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that those eligible from families of MGNREGS workers, families of women SHGs, PDS card holders, members of social security pensioners and other categories should be enrolled in the revision of voters lists. 

The Collector on this occasion brought to the notice of electoral officers about the Election Commission notification stating that out of 1,000 population, about 720 to 750 should be enrolled as voters.
