GIET students participate in Silicon Vally Meet
Rajamahendravaram: Chaitya Educational Group (CEG) chairman KVV Satyanarayana Raju (Chaitanya Raju) has said that three students of Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) participated in Silicon Vally Meet Spring-2018 and later visited Stanford University in the US for a week.
Speaking to reporters at GIET here on Sunday, he said three students, M Yeswanth Balarama Raju, Aluri Nishitha and Ambatipudi Naga Venkata Manjunadha Koushik were selected for the University Innovation Fellowship (UIF) and shared their views with Stanford University faculty.
As many as 2,258 students from 64 universities of nine countries participated in the meet and three GIET students are among the selected students. It was a rare opportunity to participate in the meet and visit the university.
The second batch of students is also ready to visit the university, he added.
The management is putting in its efforts to tap the hidden talent of the students.
CEG chief executive officer Dr DLN Raju, principals D DV Rammurthi, Dr SSN Raju, academic dean Dr M Varaprasad Rao, vice-principals Dr Leelavathi, Dr S Murthi, deputy general manager A Naresh Raju, general manager Dr P Subba Raju and others were present.
