Congress leaders protest against TDP misrule in Mandapeta

​Mandapeta: The Congress leaders and activists of Mandapeta Assembly constituency in East Godavari district on Monday took out a protest rally and later staged dharna, over TDP’s four-year ‘misrule’.

Addressing the dharna at MRO office, AICC member and APCC official spokesperson, Kamana Prabhakara Rao criticised the TDP government and called it as anti-people. The senior leaders said that the TDP made several promises during 2014 polls and never bothered to fulfill any of them after coming to power. The Congress leaders said it was nothing but ‘Praja Vanchana’. 

He called upon the people to realise the facts and reject the TDP in 2019 polls.  Later, a memorandum was submitted to Mandal Revenue Officer.The party leaders and activists who participated in large numbers in the rally raised slogans against the TDP government policies.
