Jagan yatra reaches 2,500 km mark
Mandapeta/Ramacjhandrapuram: YS R Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy completed 2,500 km in he Praja Sankala Yatra on 208th day on Sunday. To mark the occasion, he unveiled a plaque and planted sapling at Pasalapudi.
Before starting his yatra at Pasalapudi in the morning Jagan and party leaders paid tributes to Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on his birth anniversary. During his yatra through Chelluru and Machavarm the YSRC leader was greeted by large crowds. At Machavram he entered Rayavaram mandal in Mandapeta Assembly constituency, thereby continuing his padayatra in two Assembly segments one single day.
Several leaders from Mandapeta joined YSRC at Pasalapudi. Jagan continued his yatra despite showers. He concluded his day’s yatra at Someswaram and retired to his camp for the night.
