Follow guidelines in selling meat: Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation

​Rajamahendravaram: Municipal corporation (RMC) health officer Dr MVR Murthi has warned the chicken, meat and fish traders that stern action will be taken against them if they fail to follow the guidelines to sell the same.

Inspecting chicken market here on Monday, he said the corporation was receiving many complaints from the people that some traders were selling rotten chicken, meat etc. Sheep and goats only be slaughtered at slaughter house and the pregnant should not be killed.

Usage of plastic carry bags was banned, he said and advised them to use paper covers only. The corporation would conduct sudden checks, he added.
