Renovated dining hall for visually challenged girls inaugurated

Visakhapatnam: G Nagarani, Director, Department of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens Andhra Pradesh G Nagarani inaugurated renovated dining hall for visually challenged girls at Government Residential School for Visually Challenged Girls, Yendada on the beachfront on Monday.

For the first time in the state, Divis Laboratories Limited specially designed the steel dining tables and chairs for the convenient of the girls in the residential school. Director of Divis Laboratories Madhusudana Rao Divi, who observed the troubles of the inmates while having lunch and dinner, specially designed the tables. 

The water glasses and plates will be placed on the table without any shake and the beneficiary will have hassle-free lunch and dinner on the newly arranged dining hall. The Divis management spent Rs6.25 lakh to renovate and for the steel furniture and hall capacity is 100 persons. Speaking on the occasion, Nagarani, who took charge recently said that she is visiting the various hostels to observe the issues of the differently abled persons in the state. 

Appreciating the CSR activities of Divis, the Director said that the government would also adopt the technologies, new equipment and specially designed furniture to other hostels also.

Director, Divis Laboratories Madhusudana Rao Divi said that the company is planning to construct a modern dormitory for the girls with all latest facilities near future. CSR Officer, Divis Laboratories Limited E Srinagaraju and Principal of the school M Maheswara Reddy also present.
