National Safai Karmacharis member unhappy with poor sanitation at ESI hospital

Tirupati: The member of National Safai Karmacharis (NSK)  Jagadeesh Heeramani expressed unhappiness over the poor sanitation at ESI Hospital in Tirupati. He visited the hospital on Sunday as he had received complaints that medical services were not up to the mark there.

He said, there was no cleanliness and the concept of Swacch Bharath could not be found anywhere in the hospital. He enquired with the sanitation staff about their wages and other amenities. 

ESI hospital Superintendent Dr Balasankar Reddy has told Heeramani that they have been providing medical services to all those having ESI cards. The sanitation contractor has employed 30 members in two shifts and they were having PF and ESI facilities. However, Heeramani made it clear that wards, toilets and RO water tank which he has inspected were not clean.
