The endowments department introduced the Divyadarshanam pilgrimage to provide free pilgrimage to poor Hindu people in the state. The devotees will be taken on a five-day tour to major temples in the state like Simhachalam, Annavaram, Vijayawada, Srisailam, Sri Kalahasti and Tirumala.

The devotees will be selected in batches from each mandal of the district and provided food and accommodation for free.

ZPTC Sai Rajeswara Rao said that he asked the endowments department assistant commissioner to organise tour for Podili also.

He thanked the assistant commissioner for providing the opportunity and requested him to give another chance in future to the people who missed the tour.

EO Chandrasekhar said that these 200 devotees in four buses would be taken on pilgrimage for five days. He assured the devotees that those who didn’t get the chance would be given chance in next trips.
